Location, Location, Location

Our serviced apartments are in a prime spot on the top floors of Birmingham’s iconic Rotunda building, a pleasant stroll to the Conference Quarter. This is where you’ll find the ICC conference centre, which welcomes more than 350,000 visitors from across the globe each year, the Library of Birmingham and The Exchange.

The city’s main train stations, Birmingham New Street, Moor Street and Snow Hill, are minutes away on foot from Rotunda too.

Escape The Crowds and Look After of Yourself

Our business hotel is near enough to the ICC for you to escape your conference colleagues and slip into your own cocoon for a few hours between sessions.

It’s around a 10 minute walk from the ICC to Staying Cool which gives you the chance to get in some exercise (alternatively you can pop into the nearest gym which is just 150 metres from Rotunda’s front door) while taking in some of the city centre’s best sights.

Home From Home

Unlike the soulless boxes which define some hotel rooms our stylish apartments offer a home from home experience with space to work and hold meetings as well as enjoying plenty of peace and quiet to relax.

Francine Houben, the chief architect of the Library of Birmingham, and her team at Mecanoo treated Staying Cool as a second home while working on the landmark project.

Each of our apartments and penthouses has free access to fast, secure Wi-Fi so you can work in comfort in our stylish lounges.

You’ll also find fully-equipped kitchens and dining areas to prepare your own food and snacks whenever you want.

Fresh oranges and grapefruits for juicers are complimentary, along with ground coffee from local experts Quarter Horse, Fairtrade teas, fresh milk and cereals.

All this means you can skip the queues for the normal hotel buffet breakfast and make your own healthy one at a time to suit you. You could even host your own breakfast meeting in your apartment.

And if you don’t fancy cooking for yourself some of Birmingham’s best restaurants, take-aways and supermarkets are on your doorstep. Our friendly Guest Relations team will be more than happy to advise or check out our Dining Out Guide.
